Overview
Vaccines can be ruined by a few hours outside their storage range, and the damage can't be seen. The VTMS is a complete wireless kit for keeping watch: an RFTCTemp2000A logger, a Type K thermocouple, an optional glycol bottle and a power supply. With the probe in the glycol bottle, it responds like a vial of product rather than the air around it, which cuts false alarms every time the door opens.
The unit sounds and shows an alarm when limits are crossed, keeps a running record of alarms, and displays the minimum, maximum and average temperatures for quick daily checks. Without the glycol bottle the thermocouple reads down to -100 °C, so it can watch ultra-low freezers too.
