Overview
Heat penetration studies ask one question: did the slowest-heating point inside the container get hot enough, for long enough? The HiTemp140-CF is the version of the HiTemp140 built to answer it. It mounts on the container through a ThermaLock or CF202 canning fitting, holding the probe tip at the product's cold spot while the logger rides through the retort or pasteuriser.
Its submersible body handles water, steam and temperatures up to 140 °C (284 °F), and a range of probe lengths lets you match the container.
