Overview

Temperature alone doesn't prove a steam process worked; pressure matters too. The PRTemp140 records both in a submersible body just 2.5 inches tall, small enough to sit inside an autoclave load or retort basket. It measures -20 °C to +140 °C (±0.1 °C above +20 °C) and 0 to 5 bar, with a flush or NPT-threaded pressure port to suit how you mount it.

An ISO 17025 accredited calibration certificate is included.

Typical uses

  • Autoclave and steriliser validation where pressure must be confirmed
  • Retort and canning process studies
  • Pressure cooking and sealed-vessel processes
